Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association → Design Contractor
The Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA) is a student-led organization that provides the services and support undergraduate students need to reach their academic goals and make the most out of their university experience. Committed to improving the lives of University of Waterloo undergrads both in and outside the classroom, I was hired as a digital media coordinator to aid the creation, coordination, and execution of WUSA’s digital media efforts.
I worked closely with the communications and marketing team to design and develop compelling content for multiple audiences on current and emerging digital platforms. This involved creating graphic and video assets using Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, analyzing and reporting on social media analytics using Emplifi, and web content management tasks. As a result, WUSA’s social media following increased by 46% (6k+ followers) during my contracted period there from September 2020 to April 2022.
