In 2021, many post-secondary students across Canada were ending a full year of school under the pandemic. The MindBeacon organization created the My Mental Health Matters Art Contest, asking students to submit artwork telling the story of student life during the pandemic. My winning artwork submission received the most global votes and was used by the MindBeacon organization to promote mental health awareness. Half of the winnings were donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).
